Strawberry Sponge

5 medium eggs

125g caster sugar

125g self raising flour

250ml cream

Strawberry jam

Whisk the eggs and sugar until the mixure is thick and creamy.

Sieve in the flour and fold in gently.

Bake in two 9-inch sponge tins for 12 to 15 minutes at 190°C.
