Chocolate Oat Cookies

75g porridge oats

150g butter

175g icing sugar

175g plain flour

50g custard powder

2 teaspoons vanilla essence

2 tablespoons milk

150g chopped dark chocolate

Grind the oats to powder in a blender.

Beat the butter and icing sugar until light and creamy.

Add the remaining ingredients and mix to a soft dough.

Roll into a log. Wrap in baking parchment and chill for 30 minutes.

Cut into 1cm discs and bake at 180°C for 25 minutes.
