I like this advice from Silicon Valley tech investor turned philosopher Naval Ravikant:
Find three hobbies to fill your life — one that makes you fit, one that makes you smart, and one that makes you money.
It feels like a practical spin on the famous Mark Twain quote that if you find a job doing something you love, you'll never have to work a day in your life. The best take I've ever seen on that quote was from an anonymous redditor:
Find a job doing something you love and you'll
never have to work a day in your lifehave one less thing to love.
